2L's: How long have you been designing? What was your inspiration?
SB: ive all aways wanted to design, my biggest inspiration is my
nightmares, im a fanatic over horror movies and also my imagination.
2L's: Now of course shades are not the only thing that you design. What
are some of the accessories that we can find, and what can we expect
in the future?
SB: Well because im quite the chef, i love to make my clients go crazy
over my full metal corsets, earrings, & even my new metal heels that
drop in septemeber. Theirs more to come.
2L's: What are some of the different trends that you see in the fashion
industry that you think will stick around for a while? What are some
of your favorite trends?
SB: Not sure i dont follow trends, plus dont have time to im always in the
stuido either making them. Jk but really im not a fan of trends or
keeping up on the latest fashions.
2L's: Now if most people do their research they will see that you are
also very in tune with music and filming. What made you switch it up
from the two to the fashion world? How do you balance them all?
SB: well recently i got an offer for a movie deal, im on the edge of
taking it, im really stuck on the fashion game right now. my myspace
page myspace.com/steveiboimusic was very interesting i loved making
"grime" music but i believe they all corrosponded with each other
well.
2L's: Who are some of your favorite celebs as far as fashion AND music?
SB: Grace Jones, Mia, Kelis.
2L's:What can we expect from SB in the future?!
SB: To take over everyones souls. not kidding.
2L's: Are there any celebs that you have not yet worked with that you
hope to come in contact with in the future?
SB: Grace jones, my biggest everything!
2L's: What positive advice do you give to those upcoming designers,
musicians, etc. who are trying to come up in the industry?
SB: Be financially set, or you will be in debt. (thats a ryhme i made up)
im serious about that this isnt a game, dont try to play unless you
have enough to have the memory card or the remote controller.
