yourself.
TraiD:Ima A Young Cat From Dallas, TX. On Hitz Committee / Jive Records I Stepped on Tha Scene Wit A Record I Released Called "Gutta Chick". Im Currently working on -Trai'DMark- My First Major Release.
2L's: When did you first start your rapping career and who were your
influences?
Trai'D: I Picked Up A Mic when i was like 9 wasnt serious bout it doe till like sophmore year in high school. Sum Of my influences growing up had to be 2pac, Eminem, UGK, list goes on and on ima fan of all type of music.
2L's: How were u introduced to Memphitz?
Trai'D: After I Leaked A Record I Had Called "Gutta Chick" on my myspace it quickly spread. A couple people got they hand on the record and put it in the hands of Memph. Its All History from there they flew me out to do a showcase for jive and shortly after i was inking a deal before i even graduated high school.
2L's: Who have you worked with so far?
Trai'D: My First Single of the album is called "iDoobie" [ i - do - bee ] Feat. Oj Da JuiceMan
an outside of the allstar remix i had to "Gutta Chick" which featured Dj Khaled, Hurricaine Chris, Trina, Ace Hood, & Bun B.
My Album Is Really All Just Me. Im Really Tryna Let The People Get 2 know Me As Much As Possible with My First Album.
2L's: Where did you get your name from?
Trai'D: "Trai'D" is Short for "Traidmark" which as u know a "Trademark" is a logo or sign a business puts out to represent thereselves, im basically sayin everytime i step out im reppin my city/people/fans/ the south/ 2 tha fullest
2L's: What impact do you feel you will or have had on the music industry?
Trai'D: I feel Like I'll be underestimated in the industry comin out but just like anybody else i gotta make u respect me. i dont think there aint a limit i cant reach in this game. its just about how bad i want 2 play this shit. But The Impact will most def. be BIG.
2L's: What can we expect from you in the future?
Trai'D: My First Major Release. Album Called "Trai'Dmark". Oversaturation of the market. U Either Gonna Be like "Damn This Lil Nigga Go Hard" or be like "Im Tired Of Hearing This Nigga" I Really dont care as long as i keep my name in your mouth. But Big Things Are Comin. Stay Tuned
2L's: To the artists that are not signed yet but working towards that step, what advice would you give?
Trai'D: Stay Humble/Hungry/&Focused. I personally believe There Really Aint no formula to get on everybody gotta find they own way
2L's: What sets you aside from other artists?
Trai'D: My Voice My Youth And My Music. I Really Touch Subjects That You Wouldnt expect from somebody who just turned 19. Im Tryna bring back meaning to music in a cool way.
